Happy Chinese New Year 2006 - Year of The Dog

It's time of the year again when we can see red everywhere, where we listen to loud CNY songs and the noise of firework displays. It also means a period where friends will gather to "earn" some extra money by angpows or the "fastest and also risky" way (this activity usually happens at night). It's the 2nd day of the Lunar New Year and we've been "investing and gaining, or losing" hard for two nights in a row (I hate saying this...). Fortunately, it started with RM6 but up to now, I'm carrying an amount of RM100++ in my wallet... ekeke. Thanks to the God of Prosperity (pic), right? Ok, I guess it's enough for this image tarnishing stuff. I'm not really a "hard gambler"(a justification :>). If luck is inviting, why not take it?

I hope it's happening the same way to everybody. Win more money and let the fortune gain incredibly. Wish you guys a wonderful and happy Chinese New Year and may the year of the dog be a prosper and blessed one.

AIESEC Joke of The Month

Three LCPs and three VPs were traveling by train to a conference. At the station, the three VPs each bought tickets and watched as the three LCPs bought only one ticket.
"How are three people going to travel on only one ticket?" asked a VP.
"Watch and you'll see", answered an LCP.
They all boarded the train. The VPs took their respective seats, but the three LCPs all crammed into a rest room and closed the door behind them. Shortly after the train departed, the conductor came around collecting tickets. He knocked on the restroom door and said, "Ticket, please".
The door opened just a crack and a single arm emerged with a ticket in hand.
The conductor took it and moved on.
The VPs saw this and agreed it was a quite clever idea. So, after the conference, the VPs decide to copy the LCPs on the return trip and save some money (being clever with money, and all that). When they got to the station, they bought a single ticket for the return trip. To their astonishment, the LCPs didn't buy a ticket at all.
"How are you going to ride without a ticket"? said one perplexed VP.
"Watch and you'll see", answered an LCP.
When they boarded the train, the three VPs crammed into a restroom and the three LCPs crammed into another one nearby. The train departed. Shortly afterward, one of the LCPs left his restroom and walked over to the restroom where the VPs were hiding. He knocked on the door and said, "Ticket, please."

We'll Make It Happen! - AIESEC in TBS Dream Team '06

There was once when I asked the @ in TBS team, "What are we here for? What is AIESEC in TBS here for?" I was so shock to find out that they've to think for quite some time for the reply. Nonetheless, there was merely a hope for me to work on when I found out that they were still willing to learn. I knew it well that my crucial task then was to make them see what I'm seeing. An LC where there's only a year to ensure that the seed grows into a tree. Yes, in just one year! I knew it well too that every initiatives and plans have to be materialized and implemented in split seconds, provided that the members understand what's going on within the LC. It sounded unbelievably tough then. However,...

Things are different now. I can see the players of the LC are positioning their steps well. They're here to stay. They'll be the pioneer of every initiatives of the LC. They're almost ready for threats and challenges; and they're moving towards the way where I thought it was simply too difficult to be seen by them back then. Unbelievable. The first step which I thought was really hard to be taken was already taken. Now, it's up to them, with my guidance, to walk on the remaining distance of the path.

Somehow, I've faith in this wonderful team that we'll be the real pioneer of AIESEC in TBS and together, we'll make it happen. Full status LC, here we come!...
