I'm entering another phase of my life.
Too many setbacks are hurting my self-confidence lately. It signifies that it's already time to wake up I guess. Reality is going pretty harsh now. If I don't pave my path effectively for career after graduation, I'll end up like many fresh graduates. I believe I can do better than that but at this point of time, I have doubts on how to go about it...
I always think that corporate is for me but lately, that doesn't seem the case. What are these corporates looking for actually in an employee? Looks like I don't seem to fit the bill after couple of job interviews with corporate institutions.
If I don't go for employment, what are the choices that I'm left with? Close to none at this point of time although it's better to create employment opportunities than to take up an employment opportunity. That boils down to whether I have the capacity and capability to be an employer after graduating, plus worries that the economy of the country are not likely to do well given the volatility of world economies as a result of subprime lending and liquidity problems in the US. 2008 may be foreseen as a tough year for businesses.
Perhaps, I should really sit down to think and plan for the road which I'll be taking in time to come.
Will I ever make it big?
