My Theme Park Trip

I've never been for a thrill ride in a roller coster for quite some time. It was about 3 or 4 years ago..? So I decided to go to the Genting Theme Park last Sunday (20th Jan 2008) with Christine as she has not been to the theme park before. God is great, the sky was good. Brilliant weather and an excellent finale to the long tiring week. Below are some of the pics taken during the trip...

Great weather for the day. Sunny and bright.

Christine after a shot down from the sky.

Christine on Toboggan. One ride which I was not allowed to ride on for being overweight...

Christine posing in front of the London bus.

Posing for the camera in front of the waterfall at the theme park.

On some ship...

Feel like a boxer on the 'piggy' plant

Christine and I enjoying the ride on the 'classic automobile'

Me, posing with the 'classic automobile'

Cotton candy! Yummy...

One bite is always not enough...

Oops. Artificial moustache has grown on my poor face..and pink??

All wet...Shivering and calling for help!

Posing on the merry-go-round...

Cam-whoring la...

Sorry...ehem...can I borrow your surfing board for posing as well...?

Preparing for my second ride of the SpaceShot...at 6pm?

Another shot of me...where I was shivering, actually.

Lifted closer to God at that moment.

Christine with the gold lion. No..she doesn't look like a lionness, pls tell me not...

Christine wrapping up our trip at the theme park after the sun set, before leaving for dinner.

Sweet Christine posing at the lobby of the hotel.
And damn...I should've booked a nicer hotel instead of the First World. I was so disappointed of the room - size, ambience, and particularly, the window (the room window was facing another room's window which was pretty freaky when the other room was not occupied). And as some of my friends asking me whether I was in the casino...
Yes, I did and no, I didn't win any money... So, get lost.

Cheers.

Benefits of MyKad

Below is some humour about the Malaysian identity card's multi-purpose function which I found in the e-mail "malaysian's ID Card <> haha!!!!!!" by Michael Eng Zhan Min:

Live From Office (Ep.II)

I don't know why... Now that I'm using a notebook in the office, access to Blogger is no longer a problem.

Feels like dozing off now although I think I slept early yesterday (Think so...coz I didn't really look at the time last night after returning home from badminton game) Once in a while I'll have a short nap when time permits....I mean when there are less calls and there was once I almost snored (or in fact, I did??) coz I can feel ppl looked at me, can you believe it?! If I did it loudly, I'll be in hot soup. Can't imagine it. I would not know where to hide my face in the office then....

While I'm awake, besides working I surf the net. Noticed something when I was browsing around just now. Youth Entrepreneur Convention 2008 or something like that this coming weekend which looks interesting. I thought maybe it's the best plan to spend my weekend on besides going to Genting this coming Sunday and Monday. But since the participation is relatively costly, I'm wondering whether anyone knows the organiser so that I could work something out it. Lol. I would also appreciate if anybody who will be going or intends to go to give me a ring or something to share the details.

Btw, been officially listing items in eBay. Tak laku betul...3 days, 0 bids. When will I ever see 1 bid...at least make my first time successful la.

And yes...I've stepped into the gym last Saturday and will be going today again.

Cheers

Miss It

Access to Blogger in the office has been blocked once again...

Therefore, just posting this at home before going to work.

At last, I have not made it to the gym this whole week. I haven't been holding any weights for very long time now. But I guess today should be going according to plan...

For those, who thought of going to the gym in either Mid Valley or Menara Standard Chartered, give me a call or message as perhaps, we could meet there. :)

I miss working out!!

Cheers.

Live From Office (Ep. I)

What a day! Now that I've access to blogger from office, I can blog here in the office itself. This is good...

Referring to my previous posting, I need to regain my fitness. This morning before I left home to work, I was in dilemma as I need to pack for gears and stuff...lol. Badminton or gym? Total body workout or weight training? Pay RM5 or nothing (monthly payment for gym ma...)? From Damansara Heights to Bdr Tasik Selatan or Damansara Heights to Mid Valley Megamall/Menara Std Chartered? Which was my pick? Which is your pick?

Gym training, of course. More value for money :D

It's cold here in the office. Most of the calls which came in were to check the repair status for the Compaq Presario V3000 series units (Shouldn't reveal it here I know, but for those who're having the model, beware). Now, I've to take care of the V3628TU which was just bought last month. Btw, just upgraded the unit OS to Microsoft Vista Ultimate which was cool. The graphic is cool....the interface is cool... and the graphic, looks cool...erm...dark. Can't wait to explore more on the OS when I've the opportunity to do so (btw, the unit belongs to Christine so she's holding the unit at time being). Whether the unit can last, I doubt so. For those who're owning the model, kindly purchase an extended warranty when warranty date is falling due to avoid further shocks... Hehe.
*Comments above are just from personal views.

As usual, while I was clearing the e-mails in the inbox, came across an interesting article which I always think of sharing with everyone. Like the old saying goes (yeah right..), sharing is caring...just for laughs.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
A chicken farmer went to a local bar... Sat next to a woman and ordered a glass of champagne. The woman perks up and says, "How about that? I justordered a glass of champagne, too!"

"What a coincidence," the farmer says, "This is a special day for me, I'm celebrating."

"This is a special day for me too, I'm also celebrating!" says the woman.

"What a coincidence" says the man. As they clinked glasses the farmer asked, "What are you celebrating?"

"My husband and I have been trying to have a child, and today my gynecologist told me that I'm pregnant!"

"What a coincidence," says the man ... "I'm a chicken farmer and for years all my hens were infertile, but today they're finally laying fertilized eggs."

"That's great!" says the woman, "How did your chickens become fertile?"

"I used a different cock," he replied.

The woman smiled and said, "What a coincidence"!

God bless. :)

Serious Business

I wanted to blog so much. I miss blogging. And at last, I've my very own sweet time in front of the computer. At this moment, I remember looking at the mirror while bathing in the bathroom a moment ago.

I've realised for the past one and a half month, my fitness level has gone down critically. Still remember that I almost threw up in between of the BodyPump class. What an embarassment?! Me?! Couldn't make it through the entire class?! Some of my fitness-freak friends may think I'm joking?! Hell no...

But the truth is, I'm not feeling good about my body and fitness at this point of time. Therefore, here I am, setting a target for myself to achieve by 29th February 2007 (and hopefully I'll survive the yummy temptation during CNY next month...).

TARGET
30% fat reduction
30% gain in lean fat

Achievable? Now I'm serious...because I had enough. Weights and treadmills, here I come!

*And I thought tracking progress through photos may be interesting as well...

Christmas Trip 2007

Lately people have been asking me to update my blog. Lol. I can't really remember all the things that have happened since the last posting coz it was real hell lot of things. But thought of loading all the pictures that have been taken during the last trip to Singapore around Christmas, and so I did...

Cheers.

Pin Number Reversal?

Came across this article. Have been wondering whether it really works...

---------------------------------------
PIN NUMBER REVERSAL

If you should ever be forced by a robber to withdraw money from an ATM machine, you can notify the police by entering your Pin # in reverse.

For example if your pin number is 1234 then you would put in 4321. The ATM recognizes that your pin number is backwards from the ATM card you placed in the machine. The machine will still give you the money you requested, but unknown to The robber, the police will be immediately dispatched to help you.

This information was recently broadcasted on TV and it states that it is seldom used because people don't know it exists.

----------------------------------------
Anyhow, I would never want to be in the situation that requires me to try the method above. :P

AMR...AMR...

When most UTS students are off for a holiday after their final exams, I'm still going to and fro everyday to TBS for this whole week. Btw, AMR stands for Application of Market Research where it is the last subject in my marketing major, which means after this, I'm officially graduated........for marketing major only. :P

100% coursework which explains all. No final exams but hell of a work which requires a series of presentations and reports. Still holding on... and after the final presentation to the client this Friday, we'll be through! But for me, break for only less than a week as I've to start working next week in an exhibition in Mid Valley and then to HP.

Great........after then I can just focus on earning some bucks to finance my study costs next year.

Nice Dinner But...

After quite some time when everyone was so busy adapting to their new lives, we haven't had much time together for dinner but we gathered last Saturday in Bandar Puteri, Puchong for a steamboat dinner. Upon looking at Ren Chang without his glasses, it felt weird as if something was missing from his face...Lol.

It was a fun and nice dinner indeed, after ordering (I've lost count...) many rounds of food, the bill only add up to about RM198. I thought the food there was expensive or were there people who either didn't eat enough or small eaters. Don't care la... as long as Christine and I were full.

As usual, after the main dinner we'll head to somewhere else. Took sometime to reach a decision though. Finally, the majority decided that we'll be heading to IOI Mall instead and so we left the place with full stomach.

Upon reaching my car, I saw a piece of funny-looking shattered glasses on the road by my car which I didn't see earlier when I reached. Automatically, my conscious told me that my car window was being smashed and broken into. Darn, I knew it was coming but I didn't expect it in Puchong. Fortunately, there weren't many things lost. In fact, just my blazer and CD case (with my full collection of CDs :(, original + pirated :P). And usually I would always have my Nike gym bag in the car but I was lucky to bring it back to the house, previous day. The photos were taken straight after I reached my car...

A piece of shattered window glasses on the road by the car.

A close up to the window and the shattered glasses beside the car.

There was supposed a blazer hanging by the window. The thief must have thought that I was hiding something precious or expensive beneath the blazer. Too bad.

By the time everyone reached back to the scene (btw, Jamie and Jill left quicker than everyone else when the rest noticed that I was having trouble with the car. :P), I was ready to leave, afraid that when it starts to rain, the seats and my car will be flooded, therefore, couldn't join them for the next round. Missing out the fun wasn't easy for Christine and I. But we thought it was okay to head back to watch drama and football instead. Lol. Sent the car to be fixed the next day. I thought it would be really expensive, but guess what, only about RM100 plus labour fee. Seriously I must thank the dumb thief for spoiling my weekend and spending half of my Sunday fixing the car. Such a stupid a**h*** thief who doesn't know how to identify 'potential' cars.

Women Are Clever‏

I came across a forwarded e-mail last week (Thanks, Julie, for the 'humiliation') which I thought was quite hillarious. But no offence to ladies, it's just that I think it's a creative way of presenting a crappy joke...

*************
A woman was out golfing one day when she hit the ball into the woods. She went into the woods to look for it and found a frog in a trap.

The frog said to her, "If you release me from this trap, I will grant you three wishes."

The woman freed the frog, and the frog said, "Thank you, but I failed to mention that there was a condition to your wishes. Whatever you wish for, your husband will get times ten!"

The woman said, "That's okay."

For her first wish, she wanted to be the most beautiful woman in the world. The frog warned her, "You do realize that this wish will also make your husband the most handsome man in the world, an Adonis whom women will flock to".

The woman replied, "That's okay, because I will be the most beautiful Woman and he will have eyes only for me." So, KAZAM-she's the most beautiful Woman in the world!

For her second wish, she wanted to be the richest woman in the world. The frog said, "That will make your husband the richest man in the world. And he will be ten times richer than you. "

The woman said, "That's okay, because what's mine is his and what's his is mine." So, KAZAM-she's the richest woman in the world!

The frog then inquired about her third wish, and she answered, "I'd like a mild heart attack."

Moral of the story: Women are clever. Don't mess with them.

Attention female readers: This is the end of the joke for you. Stop here and continue feeling good.

Male readers: Please highlight the spaces below.

The man had a heart attack ten times milder than his wife!!!

Moral of the story: Women likes to think that they're really smart . Let them continue to think that way and just enjoy the show

PS: If you are a woman and are still reading this; it only goes to show that women never listen!!!

Again, no offence, ladies! :D

Night at The Balcony...

I had a dream...

It was 3 hours past midnight. I was at the balcony with the clearest view of the moon lit sea. I could hear the sweet sound of the wave hitting against the beautiful sand of the beach.

It was our first night out for a vacation in an island. It was the first time we spent a night together. I couldn't sleep as a result of great delight, with the highest level of gladness and awe. Not long after, I could hear her footsteps driving closer and I knew she was awaken. Then, she gave me the sweetest hug I've ever had and I knew she's the best I ever had....

I woke up.

I know deep inside that she's still the best I ever had... :)
